About your trip

Mystic Andes: A Journey Through Peru

From Lima to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca
Hosted by Alison – traveler, explorer, and your guide into the heart of Peru

An Invitation to the Andes

Some places take your breath away. Peru transforms you.

Join a small group of fellow travelers on a journey through the landscapes and legacies of the Andes. From the cobbled streets of Cusco to the lost citadel of Machu Picchu, from the timeless villages of the Sacred Valley to the still waters of Lake Titicaca, this is an opportunity to experience Peru’s beauty and depth in a way that is both immersive and relaxing.

This is not a rushed group tour. It is a thoughtfully curated itinerary—carefully paced to balance exploration with time to soak it all in. With Alison as your host and traveling companion, you’ll share not just the highlights, but also the quieter moments: a coca tea at sunrise, laughter on the train, stories exchanged under Andean skies.

Why This Journey

Peru is more than a destination. It’s a living history, a vibrant culture, and a landscape that stays with you long after you leave. On this journey you will:

  • Walk among the ruins and living towns of the Sacred Valley

  • Witness Machu Picchu, with the option to see it at dawn

  • Hike the rainbow-colored mountains of the high Andes (optional)

  • Sail across Lake Titicaca to meet the communities of its islands

  • Experience the energy of Cusco and the coastal elegance of Lima

  • Choose an indulgent upgrade aboard the Andean Explorer luxury train, an overnight journey across the altiplano

Traveling with Alison

This journey is hosted by Alison, who has experienced Peru firsthand and carries a deep love for its people and places. She’s not a guide in the traditional sense—local experts will share their knowledge along the way—but she is your companion throughout the journey. Think of her as a fellow traveler who understands the rhythm of the road, the joy of discovery, and the value of traveling together.

Who This Trip is For

  • Adventurers seeking meaning, not just sightseeing

  • Travelers curious about culture, history, and connection

  • Couples, friends, and solo explorers looking for shared stories

  • Anyone who has ever dreamed of standing where the Incas once ruled

More Than a Trip

This is an invitation to slow down, to be moved, and to reconnect with wonder. You’ll leave with a deeper sense of place, new friendships, and memories that endure.

Spots are limited. If the Andes are calling—this is the moment to answer.
