What a trip of a lifetime! This was a beautifully planned trip to Japan. The food, the sites, the people in our small tour group…everything was absolutely wonderful. I can’t wait to travel with you again, Alison, along with the new travel-mates I met. Thank you!

THE BEST TRIP OF MY LIFE! Japan 2026 will forever give me wonderful memories and the friendships that I came away with is priceless!! I went on this trip knowing no one. I am single and tired of wanting to travel, but not doing so because I didn’t want to travel alone. MPE was the answer I needed, Alison McMaster was the answer!! I just can’t put into words how perfect this trip was for me… from the beautiful hotels, wonderful restaurants, the bus that took us on many adventures, with Mika our guide, every aspect of this trip was perfect!! I came away with 6 new friends that I hope to forever share in my life and more adventures with Alison. I could not be more grateful and beyond happy with this trip!! An amazing experience from initial reservation to the last day! Incredible planning with lots of little surprises along the way. This was no ordinary tour of Portugal wine country! Thanks to Sarah and Alison for an unforgettable adventure!

This trip was beyond our expectations. FIVE STARS!! Every detail was thought through. We were able to become immersed in the city of Nairobi with activities that instructed, uplifted, and entertained before the safari started and then we were emersed in the wildlife and culture of the communities we visited as we made our way south through the four different preserves/sanctuaries. My boys, 10 and 11 years old, were engaged the entire time and the guides were fabulous with all of the kids on the trip. The lodges we stayed at were all high quality and connected to the local communities at varying levels. We were very fortunate to see "The Big Five" and most of "The Ugly Five" :) as well. We felt safe and cared for the entire time and the communication on the trip from Alison and the guides was top notch. The schedule was rigorous, but also allowed for downtime to enjoy just being in Africa. The food was remarkable and fresh, fresh, fresh. We thankfully didn't experience any traveler's illnesses, but if we had, I know we would have been well cared for. We can't wait to start planning our next trip with MPE and hope to return to Kenya and the beauty of Africa very soon.

Spending time in parts of France that I probably never would have experienced was … AMAZING!! I’ve always wanted to go to Paris, but the Alsace region went beyond my expectation. Our hotel in Obernai was excellent and situated perfectly so we could hop on the train and head to Strasbourg and then to Colmar. The Christmas Markets were never on my radar but now? I want to go every year!! Have you ever had roasted chestnuts?? We did— in Strasbourg!! Yummmm. The history, the architecture, the food and the wine?? I loved every minute of it. Then we headed to Paris for three nights and stayed in another small hotel that was centrally located. We enjoyed a walking tour of Paris with lots of fun stories shared by our tour leader as well as the history of Paris. But my favorite… we got to make croissants and then eat them straight from the oven!! Have you ever?! Truly, one of life’s great mouth-watering experiences that I didn’t even know I was missing. Our group was small, which I loved and the experiences were ones I definitely would not have had if I’d planned the trip. I highly recommend MPE Travel for all of your travel needs!
